COVID-19 Update from Farm Bureau Insurance
Updates Regarding COVID
While state and local officials have imposed new restrictions to limit viral exposure, they have all recognized insurance as an essential service. Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee is fully functioning and has measures in place to deliver our vital services in the safest manner possible.
We are committed to remaining accessible and providing insurance services all across Tennessee. Our agents and claims staff are still available, although the method of contact may be different for the next few weeks. Customers can still do business with us by telephone, email, conventional mail, and through our website, fbitn.com. We accept electronic signatures in most cases.
You can pay your bill or file a claim by calling our Customer Service Center at 877-876-2222 and through the My Account portal at fbitn.com. Customers without an online account can make one-time payments at fbitn.com without registering.
Our headquarters office in Columbia, our corporate center in Waynesboro, and all 16 regional claims centers remain operational with essential staff who are working either in small, widely-spaced shifts or remotely from home.
It is our intent to keep our local agents available to our customers-preferably by keeping the local offices open, but having agents perform their tasks remotely as necessary. We do ask everyone to use our remote service options and avoid foot traffic in our local offices.
Our job is to be here for our customers through life's uncertainties, and Farm Bureau Insurance is committed to being a stable influence in our communities during this time. The governor and local officials recognize that our mission is essential to the well-being of millions of Tennesseans.
I am encouraged by the cooperative spirit and can-do attitude of all our employees, agents and customer service personnel. Our company has the financial strength to withstand this challenge, but more than that, we have the power of our people. There is a reason Tennessee Turns To Us.
