Farm Bureau Insurance deepens commitment to childhood cancer research
Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee continued its partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® through dedicated fundraising efforts with agents, customers, and vendors in 2023. This contribution marks an ongoing commitment to raising awareness and driving support for the work of St. Jude in advancing treatments and research of childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Throughout the year, more than 500 Farm Bureau Insurance agents from across Tennessee rallied together in a series of fundraising events, including golf tournaments and sporting clay competitions. These events, made possible by the generous support of local Tennessee business owners, provided a platform for agents and community members to contribute to the cause. Participants not only entered these events but also engaged in raffles and additional fundraising activities, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to the mission of St. Jude.
“Our agents and sales leaders have shown incredible generosity and spirit in their fundraising endeavors,” said Bobby Pulley, Chief Marketing Officer at Farm Bureau Insurance. “Their commitment reflects a deep care for the community that extends to the courageous children and families facing childhood cancer. Supporting the St. Jude mission is more than a partnership; it’s a reflection of our core values.”
“We are grateful to Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee whose dedication allows St. Jude to continue advancing research and treatment that helps kids in Tennessee and across the world,” said Steve Froehlich, Chief Revenue and Development Officer for ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “This support has ensured that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.”
