Farm Bureau Insurance Hosts Friday Night Pink Out Games
For the third year in a row Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee is a statewide partner of the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.” To raise awareness and funds for this cause, we will be hosting Friday Night Football Pink Out games across the state of Tennessee!
So what exactly is a “Pink Out” game? This fall more than 2,500 players representing 35 high schools across the state of Tennessee will take to their home fields wearing pink jerseys and socks provided by Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee. At the end of each game the jerseys will be auctioned off to the highest bidder and proceeds will support fundraising efforts for “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer,” the nation’s largest network of breast cancer events with more than 300 events nationwide.
Each year more than one in eight women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and 52 percent of those diagnosed turn to the American Cancer Society first for support and education. By supporting the Pink Out games across Tennessee you and your community will help to raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer.
This is why we encourage you to check the schedule below for your closest Pink Out game and come out to support this worthy cause. Whether you bid on a pink jersey, purchase a pink Farmer Charlie hat or simply come out to cheer in pink, every little bit makes a difference.
