About Me
I have proudly served with Farm Bureau Insurance since October 2018, helping individuals and families protect what matters most. While I may not be a Polk County native, I consider this community my home away from home. My family's deep roots in agriculture date back nearly 100 years when my grandparents established a farm in Polk County before eventually settling in McMinn County, where I was born and raised.
I graduated from McMinn Central High School and earned my bachelor's degree in Sports Administration with minors in Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I then pursued my master's degree in Sports Management at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, which led me to work in the sports industry with organizations such as the Knoxville Tourism and Sports Corporation, the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, the AAU Junior Olympic Games, and as a basketball coach at Hiwassee College. Additionally, I spent eight years serving the McMinn County community through the Athens-McMinn Family YMCA, where I worked with youth and adult sports programs, senior adults, after-school care, and summer food programs.
I am blessed with a loving and supportive wife, and together, we raise our four boys in a faith-centered home. My family and faith are the foundation of my life. As a sinner saved by grace, I strive to share the love of Jesus with those I encounter. We cherish our time together, whether at church, on the field, or simply enjoying family moments.
Farm Bureau Insurance stood out to me not just for its trusted coverage, but for its dedication to the community. The Farm Bureau Federation's support for agriculture and programs like Future Farmers of America (FFA), 4-H, Shooting Hunger, and St. Jude's aligns with my values and passion for service.
If you're searching for a local insurance agent who is invested in the community and truly cares about your needs, give our office a call. We'd love to connect, hear your story, and help you find the right coverage for your home, auto, or life insurance needs.
